Look for Gerwyn Price to hit the most 180s in his match with Rob Cross on Thursday night. While Price has not been prolific when it comes to filling up the treble 20 bed in this season’s Premier League, his 180 numbers across 2025 make for impressive reading. In fact, only Luke Littler (427), Beau Greaves (320) and Josh Rock (281) have hit more maximums than Price (280) on the PDC circuit since the turn of the year. 

The ‘Iceman’ fired in four 180s in his opening match against Luke Humphries last week and a similar return here could prove enough to outmax Cross. ‘Voltage’ is currently propping up the 180 leaderboard in this year's Premier League, hitting a combined total of 48 maximums across the opening 13 weeks of the campaign. It was only two weeks ago that Cross and Price last crossed paths in the Premier League, with the former failing to register a single 180 during the match.

Given his remarkable 180 numbers in this year's Premier League, Luke Littler represents good value to hit the most maximums in his quarter-final clash with Nathan Aspinall on Thursday night. The Warrington wonderkid hit a combined total of 13 180s on his way to a record-breaking fifth weekly title last week. 

What’s more, Littler won the 180 battle in each of his three victories in Birmingham last Thursday, one of which was against Aspinall. ‘The Nuke’ racked up seven 180s to Aspinall’s three, meaning that he has now won the 180 battle in each of the pair’s four Premier League meetings this year to date. With Littler’s overall 180 return in this season’s Premier League now sitting at an eye-watering 141, the teenage sensation has to be fancied to land the most maximums during his latest encounter with Aspinall in Leeds on Thursday night.

There is a strong enough case to be made for Michael van Gerwen to hit the most 180s during his quarter-final showdown with Luke Humphries on Thursday night. The Dutchman showed flashes of his brilliant best to reach last week's final in Birmingham, most notably defeating Gerwyn Price 6-3, winning the 180 battle 5-2 along the way. 

While Humphries (73) has hit more 180s than van Gerwen (64) in this season’s Premier League, the Dutchman does boast a higher 180 per game average of 2.78. What’s more, the ‘Green Machine’ has won the 180 count in each of his previous three meetings with ‘Cool Hand’ in this year’s Premier League, two of which were by a margin of two or more. It’s also worth noting that Humphries has only managed to hit two maximums or fewer in four of his last six Premier League outings, further suggesting the value lies with van Gerwen here on the 180 front.
