Carlos Alcaraz is an interesting player who has caught the eye at times during his two spells in the Premier League, first with Southampton and now with Everton. His shot volume stands out, he’s had 20 efforts since joining Everton in January across his 13 appearances, just five of these have been starts, taking his average to 3.08 shots per 90.

Ryan Sessegnon has been given a new lease of life by Marco Silva, operating on the left wing or as a left wing back, depending on how Silva approaches the game. He likely plays on the wing here; he’s had 13 shots across his 13 appearances in the Premier League this season.

Alcaraz’s incredibly high shot volume should trump Sessegnon’s recent renaissance under Marco Silva to see the Everton man have more efforts on goal at a nice price of 2.62.

McGinn is one of the most reliable players in the Premier League when it comes to winning fouls. This was evident in his performance against Fulham last time out in which he was hauled down on four occasions - more than any other player on the pitch - despite only lasting 61 minutes in the game.

McGinn is averaging 2.93 fouls won per 90 in the Premier League this season and we’re putting him up against Antoine Semenyo who is averaging a more modest 1.10 fouls won per 90. McGinn was fouled twice in the first meeting between these sides, Semenyo was brought down three times but this isn’t reflective of his average across the season as a whole. 

The game state also suits the Villa man to be fouled more often than Semenyo here. Bournemouth commit more fouls per game than any other Premier League side (13.5 per game) and committed 14 fouls in the initial meeting between the sides at Villa Park. On the other hand, Villa win more fouls per game than any other Premier League side so this clash should produce more Villa players on the end of Bournemouth challenges.
